The fact of lurking

Lurking means the pathology was blocked inside of the body without showing any original signs and symptoms. Sometime the person is completely symptom free. With appropriate treatment, this might surface the hidden pathology. Most of the chronic condition might be related with lurking. 

The first case of lurking was from the Huang Di Nei Jing, The inner cannon from the Yellow Emperor. In the past there was usually no constant indoor heating. It's easy to catch cold. It'd be extremely difficult to treat because you need to promote sweating under a constant low temperature. The symptoms will calm down but the condition was not really resolved. When the Spring finally comes and the person catches cold again, the current cold and the treatment will bring the hidden unresolved cold from last winter will also surfaces with the treatment of the cold in Spring. 

The typical lurking is when some symptoms which disappeared for quite a while suddenly appeared. This might comes with a treatment or other stimulations. In homeopathic medicine they have a term called [healing crisis]. It means the symptoms comes seemingly intense but the person's subjective feeling is not that bad. And the symptoms resolve faster than it usually does. 

This will be quite confusing when it happened but this is a great thing for us and our health. Because something stubborn and vicious hidden in your body has been driven out.
